INTERNATIONAL LABOUR ORGANIZATION (ILO)-UNESCO-WORLD BANK WEBINAR ON TVET AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT IN THE TIME COVID-19

1st Feb 2021:- Three officers (Mdm Rofizah Binti Ibrahim as a Head Department of Textile Technology, Mr. Hardev Singh Sokhal A/L Jaswant Singh as a Head Department of General Studies and Mdm Syazana Binti Dzulkefli as a Head Department of Personnel) from National Youth Skills Institute of Peretak, Ministry of Youth & Sports Malaysia had attended for International Labour Organization (ILO)-UNESCO-World Bank Webinar on TVET and skills development in the time COVID-19 at 9.30PM – 11.15PM (Malaysia Timing). The purpose of this webinar is to share the main findings of this publication, and bring together TVET providers, policymakers and social partners to exchange knowledge, experiences, and best practices in an effort to address current and future crises in the delivery of TVET. The goals were on; How the pandemic has disrupted TVET, and the main challenges faced by TVET institutions during this crisis; The key policy responses and training measures to ensure the continuity of TVET provision; and How TVET stakeholders are preparing to address the aftermath of COVID-19 and to strengthen the resilience and responsiveness of TVET systems to future shocks.
